MANHATTANVILLE'S HISTORY DEPARTMENT
is the academic home for people who enjoy
learning about the past and its continuing impact on today's and
tomorrow's worlds. Anything and everything can be approached, and
better understood, historically, and so Departmental course offerings
cover all times, places, and subjects.
Known around campus and
beyond as
THE FEW, THE PROUD, THE
LITERATE,
Manhattanville History Majors and Minors, numbering
altogether some one hundred and sixty independent-minded individuals,
expand their historical awareness and have fun in the process in their
academic studies and related activities with the History faculty, alumni, and with each other.
