COURSE DESCRIPTION - This independent laboratory course is based on the work completed in the Research Seminar. The students will be responsible for establishing their experimental design, standardizing their protocols, and continuing their literature search. The term paper is a rough draft of the senior thesis with results to date. This course should be taken by students in the fall semester of their senior year. Credits: 3

The following requirements (typed) are due on the dates below.  These are deadlines, not guidelines. Your grade depends on strict adherence to them.

Hand in: revised and more detailed protocol

  • Comprehensive experimental design with completed calendar of experiments
  • Copy of the major article from which you derived your protocol
