Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society is a society of undergraduates and graduate students, whose goal is to foster interest in the biological sciences. With our purpose to function as an honor and professional society for students of the biological sciences, we, the members of the Upsilon Sigma Chapter at Manhattanville College, strive to achieve academic excellence, to promote scholarly pursuit, and to eagerly share information in the life sciences. Regular members of Upsilon Sigma have taken at least one Biology course above the Principles level and have maintained a B average. Associate members have a strong interest in the biological sciences and a willingness to become active in our chapter.

Tri Beta provides many opportunities to all of its members, including health, medical, and research activities, academic and curricular development, community service, outreach programs, social events, and much more.

We cordially invite you to become a member of the Biological Honor Society at Manhattanville College. Meetings are normally held on Wednesday afternoons in the Biology lab beginning in September.  Please fill out and send the initiation application and remit your dues to any officer or the faculty advisor. Remember, you do not need to be a Biology major, you just need interest in anything biological.  Our formal induction ceremony will be held on Friday, February 22, 2002 at 7:00 pm in the French Parlor.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our faculty advisor, or any officer.
