AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN: INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIPS

Purpose:    

To support women who are pursuing a full-time graduate or professional course of study and are not United State citizens or permanent residents

Fields of Study:

Any field of study is acceptable

Eligibility:  

To qualify, a candidate must:  

1.      be a citizen of a country other than the United States, or you must hold a non-immigrant visa if you reside in the United States

2.      complete an academic degree equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from a U.S. college or university by Sept. 1, 2006

3.      intend to devote yourself full-time to your proposed  academic plan of graduate study during the fellowship year

4.      intend to return to your home country to pursue a professional career

5.      be proficient in English

6.      have applied by December 2006, to an accredited institution of study for the period of the fellowship year and must indicate the name of that institution in the International Fellowship application

Award:  

$18,000 for the 2007-2008 academic year

            Applications should be submitted to Dean Imma De Stefanis on or before 11/28/06 in Founder's 
            G-11.
