CONGRESSIONAL HISPANIC CAUCUS INSTITUTE (CHCI)
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD


Purpose:
   

To support Latino students who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who plan to continue contributing in the future. 

Fields of Study:  

Any field of study is acceptable. 

Eligibility:   

To qualify, a candidate must:

1)   have a history of consistent active participation in public service-oriented activities

2)   be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university, or graduate/professional program during the period for which scholarship is requested

3)   demonstrate financial need

4)   have good writing skills

5)   be a US citizen or legal permanent resident

Award:  

  • $5,000 to attend graduate/professional school
  • $2,500 to attend four-year academic institution

Deadline:
