A. PATRICK CHARNON
MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Purpose:   

To provide financial assistance to undergraduate students who have demonstrated their commitment to building communities

Fields of Study:

Any field of study is acceptable

Eligibility: 

To qualify, a candidate must:  

1.      be a full-time Undergraduate

2.      maintain good academic standing and make progress toward a degree

3.      submit a 2-4 page essay  (typed, double-spaced) on "how community service experiences have shaped your life and how you will use your college education to build communities in a manner consistent with Pat Charnon's views of compassion, tolerance, generosity, and respect"  (read about past Charnon scholars)

Award:  

$1,500 per academic year; recipients may re-apply each year for up to four years

Campus Deadline:                    

Applications should be submitted to Dean Imma De Stefanis on or before 3/23/07.   Founder's G-11, gradscholarships@mville.edu
