2007-2008 FULBRIGHT U.S. STUDENT PROGRAM
Purpose:
To
provide grants for international graduate study, research, and teaching
assistantships for America's student leaders who wish to study abroad and
increase mutual understanding among nations through educational and
cultural exchange.
Fields of Study:
Education; International Studies
Eligibility:
To qualify, a candidate must:
1) be
a U.S. citizen at the time of application
|
2)
hold a B.A. or the equivalent by the beginning of the grant
|
3)
acquire endorsement by Manhattanville College
|
4)
have sufficient proficiency in the written and spoken language of the
host country
|
Award:
| Grant
funds generally provide: |
- funding for round-trip travel
- maintenance
for one academic year
- health
and accident insurance
- full or partial tuition
|
