KARENA SOMERVILLE SCHOLARSHIP: 
Women in Communication

Purpose: 

Presented by the Association for Women in Communications (AWC) Westchester Chapter in honor of Karena Somerville.  The scholarship awards those students who best demonstrate professionalism in the fields of communications.   

Fields of Study:

            English; Communication Arts; Journalism; Public Relations; Marketing; Advertising

Eligibility: 

To qualify, a candidate must:

1)      be a female majoring in a communications related field such as English, Communication Arts, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or Advertising  

2)      be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate courses as a matriculating student for the upcoming 2006 - 2007 academic year.

Award:  

$1,000 of financial assistance toward future communications studies.

Deadline:
