NORMAN WOODBURY SCHOLARSHIP 
FOR STUDY ABROAD

Purpose:    

To encourage study abroad for those students interested in pursuing an international career. Presented by the World Affairs Forum.

Fields of Study:

International Studies

Eligibility:  

To qualify, a candidate must:

1)   be a Resident of or studying in Fairfield County, CT or Westchester County, NY
           
2)   be attending or accepted to attend a four-year university or college
            3)   use scholarship funds for study abroad (semester or full-year) at an accredited academic
                  institution
            4)   be in the top 25% of class and/or have a minimum B average
            5)   be a contributor to school and community life
            6)   submit an application and a minimum of 2 recommendations
            7)   be interviewed by selection committee members
            8)   demonstrate financial need
            9)   be willing to provide the World Affairs Forum with an end-of-program report and to speak
                  before a World Affairs Forum audience on a minimum of 2 occasions following completion of
                  the program

Award:  

$2,500 for study abroad
