OPT Tracking Data

Once you have accepted either OPT or an OPT extension, you are required to report your home address or any changes within 10 days of the change.  You are also required to report your supervisor's contact information or any changes in employer/employment.  You are required to find employment in your field or fields of study (major/minor).  If you are still locating a position - put Actively Seeking Employment (ASE) - if you go 90 days without employment in your major, your status will be terminated.  Not reporting your data will only create problems for all parties.  Career Services will continue to work with your during this transition.  Any questions email us at oiss[at]mville.edu
